Can someone paraphrase this paragraph?
The dilemma we are faced with is the effects on planetary warming caused by the increase in carbon dioxide. In and of itself, CO2 is not a pollutant, but it has the capability of holding onto heat wavelengths between 750nm adn 1mm. This prevents those infrared waves from being deflected back into space, and creates the ecological condition that has been termed the "greenhouse effect." Although long range consequences for planetary ecology are unknown, it is known that planetary warming will have an effect on all ecosystems. Scientists know that there will be effects on water vapor and a variety of climactic features. They speculate that there could be changes in ocean levels, further melting of the arctic cap, and droughts. They feel strongly that life as we know it will change dramatically.
