Who is Norman Windom?

Norman Windom, the chairman of Tiverton Media, sees himself as a careful planner and a superb judge of managerial talent. He's been grooming COO Sean Kinnane, a numbers-minded executive with a Wharton background, to take over an important division, Aleph Records, and eventually Tiverton itself. Windom knows little about popular music, however, in contrast to Derek Solomon. Solomon is Aleph's 68-year-old CEO and founder, and remains a creative force and a father figure to the label's artists. Solomon is wary of any challenge to his indispensability. Kinnane participates in Tiverton's broad-based and elaborate executive development plan but senses that Aleph's future leadership structure is uncertain. Along with several ociates, he suddenly leaves. Windom’s succession plan is now shattered.
