What could I have, My throat is always hurting, has red spots&bumps, my ears hurt&feel full of mucus?

Any ideas would help, I've been having this problem for a while, I got my tonsils taken out & my adenoid and it still didn't help the problem, I keep feeling so much congestion, stinging burning pain in the mornings when I wake up my throat is almost unbearable, I take pain relievers all the time like candy to get rid of the pain, I've seen an ear, nose&throat doctor before but they couldn't figure it out and just told me it was nasal drainage, How do I get rid of nasal drainage, In my own opinion I would think it was a virus or a bacteria that won't go away, Please help me Thanks
