Trilogy Tactical Timing?

I recently purchased a Trilogy tactical from actionvillage, and I set out to time it. I timed the block, and the ing rod, and the lug but I cant time the final step, the timing rod length. I dont even know where to start on timing the timing rod length. Im looking for the hex screws but i just cant find them. Are they under the grip? can n e one help?
