Is it possible to hook up xbox live with out cable of and kind by just useing wireless router or adaptor?

I put the xbox in my room but i dont have cable in there so i want to kow if i can get live with out cable and just an adaptor or wirless router (or what ever else i need) to connect it so if you have any ideas please tell me.
