How can I solve this problem?

The bootlegged way to do this question is to just take the average of those and ume it's a sphere of that diameter. That will be a pretty decent approximation. The real way to do it has to do with ellipsoids and I don't know that stuff, lol. It's something to do with finding the surface area by revolution(calculus). i think what your teacher wants is the bootlegged way.
